Timeline
Monday 31st May – A lot has happened since our last posting! We now have our Himalayan Salt Spa complete, along with our furniture being delivered for The Spa. Alongside this, we have lighting and air conditioning throughout the building.
Our Wellness Lounge bar has been erect, which is looking great!
Our Golf Pro Shop has had it’s shelves put in along with the sales cabinets.
Monday 5th April – The wall dividing The Spikes Bar & our new Restaurant has been erected.
Monday 19th March – We welcomed back Golfers! Lots of decisions being made regarding the colour palette of the Health & Wellness Centre. Our luxury LED circle mirrors have been fitted.
Monday 15th March – We continued to fit the light fixtures and speakers. Air conditioning units have been delivered. Spa units have been custom built for each of our brand new 5 treatment rooms.
Monday 1st March – The gym floor has now been complete. Air conditioning units have arrived and are being fitted.
Monday 15th February – Tiling is complete throughout the building including, reception area, spa, corridoors, changing rooms and office space. The gym floor is beginning to be layed and looking great.
Monday 8th February – Our fitness studio has begun to take shape.
Monday 25th January – Curtain Walling is being fitted this week. We are excited to see the outer building beginning to take shape. Tiling is still underway inside.
Monday 11th January – Bathrooms have now been fully tiled. The wellness cafe/bar, boardroom and function kitchen on the first floor have begun with boarding and plastering.
Monday 4th January – Windows are being fitted still with further tiling taking place in the bathrooms and tiling completed in the new Gentlemens Barbers. Shop fitting in the spa is also underway.
2021
Monday 21st December – Tiling is coming to a close in the south elevation extension, with the completion of tiling in the common areas, spa and leisure. The new boardrooms are beginning to take shape having been concreted and tiled also. Images to come.
Monday 14th December – Tiling is still underway and the windows have now gone in. Concreting has also started, as electric cables have been fitted, beginning with the gym.
Monday 7th December – Tiling is underway in the Spa and starting to come together nicely. We have also begun to place the windows in the gym.
Monday 30th November – We are continuing the work on the leisure & spa element of the build this week with the team working hard on the swimming pool and sauna.
Monday 23rd November – Our team have been working hard on the building site this week, as they have completed the south elevation extension, also known as the conference & special events suite.
We also made good headway on the leisure facilities with our swimming pool.

Coming Soon
We remain hopeful that a Summer 2021 launch will fall sometime after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted and life is safe to resume as usual. The ongoing renovations will provide its members, and the public, a newly-renovated venue where they can relax, unwind and enjoy meeting socially with friends and family once again after a difficult year of separation.
