At OneBody Physiotherapy, all of our practitioners are experts in their field.  Each has areas of special interest, and we work together to integrate our services to offer a very holistic approach to our patients’ care.  As a result of this multidisciplinary approach, we can combine our different disciplines to provide bespoke care packages.

Liz Barker – Principle Physiotherapist & Clinic Director

Liz is an experienced physiotherapist who considers herself a very generalist musculoskeletal physio.  Liz enjoys working with perimenopausal women to help educate and navigate what can be a challenging period in a woman’s life.  Liz also has a special interest working to offer a very holistic approach to the education and management of those suffering with chronic pain.

Alison McGurk – Physiotherapist

Alison is an experienced physiotherapist with a special interest in orthopaedic problems and rehabilitation post-surgery.  Alison enjoys delivering water based exercise / hydrotherapy and gets excellent results with her patients.

Will Jones – Physiotherapist

Will combines his time working at Addenbrookes Hospital as a physiotherapist during the day and offering clinics on an evening here at OneBody.  As a National League Hockey player himself, along with having experience working in elite Football, Will enjoys the challenge of working with sports men and women to return to participation and competition quickly.

Marika Mancino -Dietitian

Marika Mancino is our Dietician. A dietician is a type of nutritionist, but a nutritionist is not a dietician.  Registered Dietitians are the only qualified health professionals who assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems at an individual and wider public health level. They work with healthy clients and those with medical conditions such as diabetes, Crohn’s Disease, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and IBS, to name but a few.  Uniquely, dietitian’s use the most up-to-date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease which they translate into practical guidance to enable people to make appropriate lifestyle and food choices.  Dietitian’s are the only nutrition professionals to be regulated by law and are governed by an ethical code to ensure that they always work to the highest standard. (BDA 2023). Our dietician offers a tailored and individualised approach.  This person-centred approach shows the importance of you are your goals, and offers support and guidance to work towards these, helping you understand the rationale behind a healthy and balanced diet

Mark Lesniak – Sports Massage Therapist

Mark is a keen footballer who knows how beneficial regular sports massage can be to aid recovery and improve performance.  With evening and weekend appointments available Mark is ideally placed to offer sports massage to also alleviate the stresses and strains of modern life to help you keep your body healthy.

As an ex-professional athlete herself Emanuela has vast experience in training and therapeutic techniques to get the best out of your body, be that through manual therapies, or a 1:1 training programme to help you reach your goals.

Ryan Crowther – Physiotherapist

Ryan is an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who has worked in the military for several years, and so is used to the pressure of working with clients who need to return to sports/function quickly yet safely.  Not only is Ryan excellent with his rehabilitation programming, but he also utilises hydrotherapy where appropriate with his clients. Ryan has worked as a physiotherapist in a military setting for several years, which has given him great experience working with a younger population suffering from overuse, repetitive, and sports injuries.  He uses his skills to formulate a tailored rehabilitation programme to get people back to activity and sport quickly and effectively.
